Remember back when Mallak was still around, he was gonna do a CPA movie?
Wanna try making one about the regs?
We can use Lister's server (with his permission) for shots that need to be co-ordinated and need to be uninterrupted, and then we can film some general "look at my skeelz" shots on CPA pub.
I remember the original movie was shaping up pretty well, even though I was only in one scene (I think I ate one of Lister's mortars, and that was it). We had some cool stuff, but I think with the private server, we could do more things, maybe even have a plot.
What do y'all think?

Borlak's Movie Script -> Select Demos -> Input Times -> Render SS's (24-FPS) -> VideoMach -> Avi (Huffy Codec) -> Premiere -> Final Avi (DivX or 3ivx)

Thrax suggests Fraps2.0, which records the demo.
Other people use various programs to get about 25 ss's/s, and then putting thme back together into a movie. I don't know the names of the programs.

It's about 50%/50%
Some are taking demos, ripping them down to stills and then compliling it to video and adding sounds after the fact.
Others are dumping straight out to DV.

My question is how do people do tribes 2 movies. Are they doing it like the way I did with svideo into a cam or is there a script that does it within tribes? I'm not talking about a demo within the game but an actual avi or something.

ohhhh......i want to be in the movie i want to become a famous movie star you know my friend jmomandown he is excellent at making tribes2 movies i beleive he plays arena and he is extremly talented in tribes2 he made one recently and it was so cool maybe i can let you get in touch guys his name is JmoMandown one of my personal friends

You can usually find him on the "MoFo's Serverside Maps" server, that's where I see him playing most often.

I'd love to help with a movie.
I've gotten an itch to make one recently. Was thinking about doing an |E| movie, but realised not only do you have to pay for fraps, but I don't know if my computer can handle it.

Yeah... I remember that time. I was in one scene too, we was on the Richon Verbaten Map. We had to run out of the base as fast as we can and cut and thats a rap. Then we played the game.

I started one a while back- was outputing my mirrored video to my digital video camera. My only problem is that I could not play well at 800x600
