Heres something cool to know about the history of Tribes. It started out with a game called Earthsiege, which was made by Dynamix. Then it went to Earthsiege 2, Starsiege: TRIBES, then Tribes 2.
Earthsiege 2 was my first pc game

So then why is it when I look at screenshots of Starseige it looks better and more advanced than T2? :\

Starseige:Tribes is what many refer to as Tribes 1. You can still find it in the "classic" games section or discount bins. I did get a copy to try out way back when, but I didn't like it.
