umm slayer...the url thing isn't working....

i agree with krusty and tbok, but think you should start with python. it's much much easier than c/c# and it will give you a great place to start learning the train of thought. after you learn that u can learn a new language in a matter of hours.

And you can always get easier access to some source code at

www.sourceforge.net

*Agrees with Krusty* And depending on the language you want to learn there are good books and there are bad books.

I learned C by modifying an existing running program (a MUD) and making changes to it until I figured it out. But I already had basic programming experience before I did it.

umm. no. If you went and looked at uncompiled material of some product you own, you'd just get yourself a headache. If you want to learn to program, the best way really is to get a book and start coding.

I was interested in learning programming (not well....just getting an idea of what it is), and I thought looking at compiled material, uncompiled, would be a good way to get familiar....

I put this in general chit chat because its just general info i would like to learn....why does everything turn out to be for or about cheating...i dont get it

Andrid Posted - 01/24/2004 : 22:19:57
it's possible because hm2 guy did it. hopefully you won't use it for cheating, but a good place to start asking is at www.antionline.com .

go to the links there and ask there too.

You may be able to find free linux software to do it though. Lister?

Sometimes.

There are some decompilers out there but they are very expensive and when you decompile it you only get the code, no comments/in-line documentation.
