i agree with krusty and tbok, but think you should start with python. it's much much easier than c/c# and it will give you a great place to start learning the train of thought. after you learn that u can learn a new language in a matter of hours.

I learned C by modifying an existing running program (a MUD) and making changes to it until I figured it out. But I already had basic programming experience before I did it.

Posted - 01/25/2004 : 03:02:14 umm. no. If you went and looked at uncompiled material of some product you own, you'd just get yourself a headache. If you want to learn to program, the best way really is to get a book and start coding.

Posted - 01/25/2004 : 02:45:55 I was interested in learning programming (not well....just getting an idea of what it is), and I thought looking at compiled material, uncompiled, would be a good way to get familiar....
I put this in general chit chat because its just general info i would like to learn....why does everything turn out to be for or about cheating...i dont get it

Posted - 01/24/2004 : 22:19:57 it's possible because hm2 guy did it. hopefully you won't use it for cheating, but a good place to start asking is at www.antionline.com .
go to the links there and ask there too.

There are some decompilers out there but they are very expensive and when you decompile it you only get the code, no comments/in-line documentation.
