I'd like to hear from u guys that have it. I've been to the websites and it looks awesome. Only problem I have with it is not only do you have to pay the initial cost, but they put a monthly charge on you. $13.00 a month. grrr

It is a buggy piece of crap that they want you to pay for monthly to play. Bleh to that. That's what Tribes is for...Tribes 1, not Tribes 2.
*wonders if people understood that Him or Rain or whatever he calls himself now is making fun of Tribes 2....hmmmm*

Also in case you didnt know Qix created PlanetSide,
everyone should know who Qix is, if not ask some T1 players.
will also explain why it looks so much like Tribes 1 but with a lot more ass kicking.
there is jumpjets in PlanetSide, you just have to be a Heavy and be
Vanu Sovereignty.
try the 7 day trial, its free.
alot of tribes players that converted over to PS say its the way T2 should have been ( except for the monthly bill ).
but then again nothing will ever beat Tribes 1
hope Tribes Ven aka T3 will bring everyone back home
but thats a lil over a year from now.

So I take it I'm the only guy here currently playing PS. Geez. PAT, BUY IT! It may be boring if you have n00bs and people you don't know in your squad, but if you got someone to play with, IT OWNS. I was in beta, it was fun but I needed a new video card. So I just bought one, and picked up PS at Best Buy a few days ago. $13 a month may sound sucky, but think of it this way - it's only about 50 cents a day. =]

So sap, what do you thank of the game (SWG), I heard its a little buggy but still kick ass. Do have to pay monthly fee?

Okay I was in beta so I tell you what its like, even though it changed a bit
The game is awesome the graphics rock, PvP combat is sweet, weapons and vehicles are nice, but gameplay gets so monotonus...Its repetative after 2 months of playing. I still like the game and the dedication of the devs is awesome (they are adding new features, vehicles and objects to change up the gameplay) but I was the only guy that I knew really on T2 that was going to play it. So i decided to drop it and wait for T:V...but now SWG has caught my eye it rocks to

I downladed theh 7 day trial last week. It looked pretty but I didn't really see much special about it. click on THC message board instead of CPA message board and you will see plenty of planetside players.
