Our project, which has been assigned for 2 weeks now, is due on tuesday at 2pm. We are supposed to use first order logic in a program called OTTER to create a world for the story of peter rabbit and encode the story so that we can formulate questions to ask and it will tell us the answer.
It was not until Friday (over a week after it was assigned) that one of the TA's provided us with some sample code to get this particular problem started. That sample code turned out being even more broken than the code I have been writing. The origional problem was to create an in depth world for Peter Rabbit and answer 15 out of 20 queries correctly. It turns out that this is near impossible, even for the professor or TA's. So, this morning, the assignment was changed to do just a small portion of the Peter Rabbit world and just get 3 of the 20 queries working. This is 2 days before it is due of course.
I hate this stupid class. Even the professor can't figure out these crazy friggin assignments.
Out of frustration with the assignment and with this theorem prover program called OTTER, I spent a minute today making some Adam Sandler inspired humor and felt like sharing it:

Sounds like my physics teacher. I swear, that man has a tough time writing his own name... He's a cool guy though, just a bumbling idiot for a teacher...

This morning, at 8am, the TA officially stated that the frame problem (a method used in solving these sort of problems) is impossible to do in OTTER.. . yet they still expect us to do the assignment with a ghettoized frame problem.
