Folks there is a new look to the CPA Regular's site. With help from Listy and Pisn, we were actually able to get in up and running. However, it is far from being finished and with some helpful suggestions we can make it more pleasing on the eyes. We encourage your suggestion.

At the moment, I think it's severely lacking in the catergory of color. It looks like a bathroom, all sterilized and white and stuff.
Not sure what color scheme to use, but white with a hint of light blue isn't it. Perhaps some darker greens or a deep red of some sort.

trying having the Title of the website a little animation like the tgghaus title. the mouse thing where you click with maybe you can change it to something animated as well. and krusty is right its really lackign the color. try adding some black to the website

It looks more like an apple gui theme or something, and it has a off white color going on.
I like the deep red Idea, how abot dark blue with maybe gold, yellow, or red trimm. But I do like the way the New cpareg banner looks.

most phpnuke sites are gonna have a similar layout. It's a crisp clean look. It's functional and practical. I love it.
We're gonna get the cparegs a nice look, but first we've gotta get it functional.

Aggie, I think something may be up with the registration process. I registered a day or so ago and appear to have not recieved a validation email. I sent a request just now to get my password and (at least for 5 minutes) the email has not yet appeared.

it may just be with this box. I have the ultimate security package and couldnt even respond to this embedded java script. Hopefully we will get it complete!

I seem to be having the same registration problems with pisn's and the cpa site. I've tried to register twice with pisn's site last week but haven't gotten the confirmation emails. And now I'm having the same problem with cpa.
Is there any way to force activate my accounts?
I registered under "Sir_Pimps-a-lot" on pisn's and "Sir-Pimps-a-lot" on cpa sans quotes.
Any help? I think phpnuke hates me /lower lip sticking out in a sad attempt at sympathy/

i still haven't got a confirmation email iether for the CPA site.
With Pisn's site i got it right away.

Hey, nice site, needs more color... The "CPA-REGS" at the upper left does not really fit in, its blue, the rest is gray-blue... Mabye if you made it a bit lighter? Also, the language thing doesn't work. Love the layout though, You're doin a great job

thanks pike! we will work on cosmetics later. it will be a community vote for the color scheme.
Right now we have to get it functioning. Here are the problems that I am facing.
1. Email wont send thru the smtp.cparegs.com dont know why maybe its blocked by my cable provider.
2. User being able to login. I would like to shut off this feature so that users can join the board without email confirmation. If I do this it may expose us to potential ASSHAT problems. So I don't want to do this feature.
3. I am using a different database with the default name so, the 18 users that were hung up will have to reregister on the new board. I can then go in and manually activate accounts until I get the email issue resolved. If this option is acceptable, then feel free to reregister and I will automatically update your account. The problem would be in manually sending back the password that I choose to activate the account. It will be different then the one originally setup.

I think it looks cool the way it is. Why care about color?? I can't get on either. I just requested my login (4/13 12:30). I'll let you know what happens.

He seems to be making some headway. If you do www.cparegs.com/phpnuke/ you can get to the temporary forums and register there. The email verification thing now works.
