Well ever since I was about 8 or 9 I have been a Raiders fan and wholeheartedly hated... yes hated, the Steelers. but their quarterback went to my alma mater (sp?) and now I have split loyalties. I read a sports page article describing how the Steelers might actually win it all this year. Before, that would send chills up my spin and make me red in the face with anger. Now, I hope they do if the Raiders don't.
Argh! I use to be loyal.

No easy answer there.... I knid of know what ya mean though. I'm a die hard Steeler fan. I bleed black and gold. But... Living out here in Philadelphia area for the last 7 years, I do root for the Eagles too. Thank god they are in different conferences.
On those rare occasions when the Steelers play the Eagles... No doubt about my loyalty... Kill da birds.... GO STEELERS!!

3 guys in the army.
Steelers fan, Bangles fan, Browns fan.
They are over seas in Saudi Arabia, and manage to score a craze of booze. They get drunk, and arrested. Now, over there, public drunkenness is punishable by death.
They are taken before the High AliBinBaba and he says, that as he happens to be a huge fan of American football, he will reduce their sentences to 20 lashes.
The soberest of the group, the Browns fan decides he better get his licks in before he gets fully sober.
The High AliBinBaba tell them all that as his wife is present he will grant them each one request, as he is a merciful and benevelent man.
The Browns fan jumps at the opportunity and asks for a pillow to be tied to his back. Granted. He takes his 20, and the pillow is thrashed after 10, he is carried away crying.
The Bengles fan seeing this, and being slightly more drunk than his comrad asks for 2 pillows. Granted. They last him through about 15 lashes.
Now, the Steelers fan is extreemly drunk, and steps up to make his request. The High AliBinBaba says that as he too is a Steelers fan, this man may have 2 requests. The Steelers fan first requests not 20, but 100 lashes. The High Ali claims that only a steelers fan, and a TRUE man would request such a thing. Granted. The for his second request he asks that the Browns fan be tied to his back.

Ya'll just wait till my Houston Texans grow-up. In 3-5 yrs. they'll be a force to be reckoned with, guaranteed.
