Thats pretty bad blaming it on a game...but obvisouly they didn't know the difference of reality and Life....where when you kill a gut in GTA you just get busted and released from jail...as for reality you ususally go to jail for life when you kill a person

i personally think that, after reading gonff's post, that anyone who commits first degree murder should get the death penalty. but, im not going to go into why and all that. anyways, i dont have that game and am not going to get it, its a terrible game with all of the language and all sorts of other crap in it.

I don't care what anyone says, this game owns. You obviously have some sever mental disorder if you can't percieve the difference between reality and a flippin' videogame. One should know the consequences for carrying out this kind of stuff in real life. If you don't then, well... Maybe you do belong in jail. Or at least somewhere away from society where you can't do anyone harm...

1. the only way to eliminate bad language is to assimilate it, thus is becomes normal language and loses it's power....my N****!!!

2. asshxle, dipshxt, and idiot is about the only bad language that game has. Now BMXXXX, that sucker is gonna rock, just as soon as i get the PS2 back from getting modded im buyin that game.
3. death penalty....isnt effective enough. we need a war. say 1% of the population of the world is criminals (which is probably low estimate). that means that with a birth rate of 8000+/hour, we are getting...80 criminals an hour added to the world. how many executions can you remember? 15....20?? isnt cutting it.
everyone who died in the world trade center had been numerrically replaced by the time the first fire truck responded.
By 2010 it is estimated that 40% of the worlds population will be under 15. get a group of 10 people at random, 4 will be kids.
whats else is good rant material, now that im totally off subject...
i have a stand on the enviroment.
my goal: people need to stop cutting, burning, polluting, wasting and spoiling the planet.
my method: burn it all. have a blast. let's have the best possible time we can on this earth, and use up every resource we can find. once it's all gone, ma nature will hit her special reset button, and all will be serene, and calm again.
i say "if you care enough to have a child, why don't you instead, look to the world around you for a child thats already here, and needs love and care and parents because he or she is in a place with none of these things and no one to give them to him or her."
and people say "why don't YOU do that?"
ans i tell them "cause i couldn't give a fxck about them."

Mallak, it is people like you who cause the things you see on CNN to happen. No, I'm not catholic, but I am a Christian. You are telling me not to care and just let anything go, which is offensive to everything I belive in. If you do not care, that is your own problem, and you should not try to force that upon others. I feel sorry for you and people like you because you do not want your sins exposed, so you try to justify them by saying anything goes. Comments from a combat vet - for most of you, your experience with death is limited to a game and possibly a familly member. Do your best to keep it that way! The reality of what you see outside your door is not the reality of what's out there in this world.

This (sorry Mallak) I find extremely disturbing and yet so American.
Most Americans live their lives in complete blissful ignorance of the real world. While above I say you should do your best to shield yourselves from the reality of the rest of the world, you won't fully understand this unless you've been there.
I'm not going to get preachy about this. But for the most part you guys and gals are young and have a lot to learn and a lot to experience.
Real life for many of us has been in those places that you see on CNN or read in the paper.
And we live that life for the rest of our lives in our minds. You never forget those things, those people or the death around you. We sacrificed a lot out of our lives, and our souls so that you can look out your windows and hear those crickets chirping.
If someone likes or dislikes something, you don't really have a choice but to accept that and respect that persons comments or beliefs.
As to the games making kids do this, well it's not the games fault and it's not the programmers fault.
Somewhere in that kids psyche is a loose wire, and in some very sick psyche's these games make that connection and the game crosses from game to reality. Wrong yes, but it's not the fault of a game.
