EDIT: LOL! I know what she did. She's been messing with the settings on the Sound Blaster Live! I tried to make myself sound like a girl with a one of the built in filters once. It just made me sound gay.

Pretty interesting stuff. Yes, indeed I did use sound blaster live to filter out the higher pitch tones and convert them into lower tones, but I also have a custom filter that goes over the mic that causes my voice to sound as if I were a male.
