I am trying to get filter message to work, and I am not doing a very good job at it.
currently I have Muchos of Pj's scripts, could having Pj's scripts interfere with filter message?.....
What do I have to do in order to get filter message to work properly?

easiest = the good old reliable "tennis shoe networking" method.
Items needed for this process to work successfully: pair of comfortable tennis shoes (aggie size 14), 2 computers, 3 flights of stairs, and a (blank or formatted) 3 1/2 inch floppy disk.
The rest is up to you.

LMAO!! Tennis shoe networking!
you could email a file that size... but if one of the puters isn't on a network, then as aggie says.. one good ole' floppy disk would do.

I attempted to e-mail the file, and it loads all the way (the status bar on my browser window shows that it has almost completely loaded, but then it stays there.
I also tried to upload it on my website, but I dont believe I have access to that much bandwidth. I have most of it used.
The computer I am on and the computer I want to get it to are networked together....

650k would be 650,000 bytes, or 0.65 Megabytes (approximately). A floppy disk holds 1.44 Megabytes. I doubt a vl2 file would be 65Megabytes.

It was my whole Tribes folder (with Gamedata>base...etc..)
I have a lot of scripts that I downloaded yesterday...and I ddidnt feel like downloading them again on my other computer....so I just took the whole folder and copied it to a disk and installed it on my other computer.

Go to BestBuy and buy a pair of network cards!
There's a couple companies that sell a starter network kit for like $60. Do it the right way from the start. *Added benefit: You can woop your parents in a local network game of T2 (or any other network game for that matter).

These comps are already networked.
Belkin wireless
I let a couple neighborhood kids come over and play against eachother every now and then, they seem to get a kick out of it.

God. When me and my friend decided to network, we stayed up until4 in the morning troubleshooting every problem we had...and there were lots.
Figure it out yourself from scratch...that's the fun way. And we were only doing three comps...

Then you should be able to transfer the file no problem if the computers are networked. after all file sharing was the original purpose of the network, and then the gamers came along and started LAN parties.....
