Just curious, whats the bane of everyone? IE I snipe, my bane used to be cloakers but lately it seems to be shielders.
What do you shielders and cloakers consider your "anti"

noob cloakers that stand on a distant hill or top of the base and disk the vpad only to knock off the guy trying to get a vehicle (not to kill him).

Long time ago before I joined the CPA forums, I hated claokers and snipers and tried to perfect my skills just to take each one out. Now I can careless who kills me. To me its all about having fun.
Only thing I hate now is when your on a team where theres too many noobs and the battle ends up being a one sided match before it even starts. I don't mind the base raping thing but when your team runs around like if their heads cut off you tend to think how bad were getting our asses kicked. But I'll stick with the team until the end, too see if I could make a little difference in the game.

How about the Chain-Horse? I have been mostly playing the midfield lately and I have gotten pretty good at taking people down in open spaces. Light energy with discs, nades, and sniper rifle for finding other snipers, is my current armor of the month. A shielder with really good aim with a CG is tough to beat without any armor on your side.

i hate *****s of any kind. i really hate shield *****s though. there are certain players who never do anything except shield and they think theyre the greatest players in the world (which cant be possible, because thats me). they only use spam weaps. ie: chain, grenade launcher. makes me soooo mad... (the entire =WiN tribe.. with 1 or 2 exceptions)

FYI: Hey, I never said anything about being the greatest player in the world. It's just something about being snipe or lance at the V-pad don't feel right. Besides I consider myself as an average player.

True, though. The entire =WiN clan has gone the way of elite|... They just wh*re shields and chain/plas and claim their l33tness.
l33t is when you can take out a shielder while in light energy with laser, disc, chain, and flare nades. <ahem>

I guess I'm l33t then, my "anti" is anyone skilled with a CG, and people that catch while I'm concentrated on another players Head :)

Oh come on Gonff, you can do better than that.
And I have to say, I hated the shields. There was like a 2 week period where I shielded myself, and I still do on that one map who's name I cannot remember. Now-a-days I always use light energy w\ laser rifle, lance and disc, with flare nades. Killing (skilled) shielders is almost impossible.

And Slayer how do you light shield with laser? I need to learn that. Im still confused why any of you use flares on CPA though, concs are the shiznit. (unless you are defending something of course)

It's too bad I shot down that bomber that was going to pick you up. I don't know how they got shot down. Their tailgunner was carrying concussion grenades and everything.

Tailgunners should be using sensor jammer anyway! But I was referring more in the sniper guys who shouldnt be tailgunning anyway.
And yes rockets can sometimes be a pain but for the most part you will have boosts on ya or leave energy down low enough to snipe so your heat stays low.

Keep in Mind I play MM as a pass time, I play Classic most of the time and I play MD2 on the side also, so most of the Headshot kills come from CPA Becuase its hard to get them in classic and MD2 doesn't record them right and I also did a reinstall of T2 2 months ago so that wiped about another 500 off my record

i use the rifle/disc/lance pretty much only now. i can beat most shielders with it, but theres a few that give me trouble. btw, as a sniper, i dont hate cloakers. just shielders. oh yeah, i hate fangs too. more than anything. the wrost thing is fangs in a shield spamming with cg. ill just leave the game right there.
