I think I read about Car security systems in Japan where the car door would explode if anyone tried to force them open.
I don't think it got into wide circulation ever...

In places such as South Africa, people really do have car security systems in which bars/baseball bats come swinging out of under the car to break the intruders legs.

Personally for my 45 i had all Hydrashocks(when i had my placein the city, when you have 12" brick walls not much is gonna go out side)

Looks a lot like an AR-15 --and I know the AR-15 tends to be legal to have in many states.

To me, it looks more like something Han Solo would be carrying around.
EDIT: the disappointing thing about that thread is that the last post (by MoW) made absolutely no sense to me and I didn't get a chance to figger out wtf he was referencing.

but an uzi doesnt use .22LR rounds. From my quick internet search, it looks like it comes in 9mm and .45.
