Its not as bad as all that. It basically comes down to not saying anything stupid that you can't defend well. I have made a good 500 posts there and nobody has been able to flame me yet. And its a very interesting place to lurk.
So you're saying everyone in GD is a bunch of pad snipers and blaster cloakers: They only attack you when they know you can't defend yourself. As soon as you do start to fight back, they boost away out of fear of being shot only to come back later and try the same thing.
Yeah, pretty much. It's the largest collection of idiots on the internet. But there are some good people.
You just have to know what your doing. TW is great because: A) Its faster than any major news-source as far as developments go. B) It brings teh funny.
There are a lot of idiots doing what they do best over there...being idiots.
Edit: And the only flaw in yuor analogy is that on TW, there is no reason to be getting a vehicle. They generally can't do anything unless you make yourself look like an idiot first.
