i have a box of rope. 6500 feet of it, it's thin poly twine rope. it normally has a hole on top and feed from the center of the spool out. the rope in the center has been tangled, and the box came apart. i want to salvage as much of this rope as possible. i have a broomstick which can be the new anchor, or spool center, but how the devil can i do this w/ out twisting 6500feet of rope by hand????

washing machine proved helpful
turned it on to spincycle, jammed down trigger, spun about a third of it onto a reel
kinda dangerous, cause you need a hand down in there to guide the chord... maybe i can find someone w/ a lathe.

*Cough* True  , I was on a ski trip on Thursday night, I got some air but the edge of my bord got stuck in a sticky mound of snow, it stopped, I flew foward dragging the bord with me, I landed on my left arm and fractured it. I'm a cripple for 2 months...but I still try to get some game time.
Mal, what would someone like you be doing with 6500 feet of rope?
